  • Important: CIAs and IMAs now live in TDS

The Comprehensive Interim Assessments (CIAs) and Interim Module Assessments (IMAs) are now live in the Test Delivery System (TDS). This will allow districts and schools that already have completed all Classroom Benchmark Assessment (CBA) testing to begin taking advantage of the CIAs and IMAs for classroom instructional use.

However, if your district has not completed the CBA administration, we highly recommend your district adjusts the test windows in TIDE to suppress the CIAs and IMAs until after the CBA administration has concluded. This will prevent teachers from inadvertently administering the CIAs and IMAs instead of the CBAs.

If your school has not completed all CBA testing and your district does not modify the CIA and IMA test window, test administrators must ensure they are selecting a CBA (highlighted in green in the TA interface) when administering a CBA.

Update: CBA test window has been extended to Friday, October 19th.

  • ELPA21 Demo Student Accounts

In order to maintain test security and the validity of test scores, it is very important that TAs understand that they are not allowed to create demo students and attempt to take the screener themselves. While we appreciate that there may be some uncertainty in states that are new to the ELPA21 screener, the available training materials contain all information that TAs need to successfully administer the screener. Any attempt to coach students, however well intended, may result in a testing irregularity and scores that are not meaningful.
